Almost Forgotten Blogsite

A pleasant greetings!

I have completely forgotten and neglected this blogsite. For this I apologize mainly to myself.  I believe I have not done nor written anything for this site to deserve  readers.

I was sidetracked actually with my trying to create a blogsite attached to that of the organization I write some things for.  One may want to visit and read my musings at :  http://www.byteknight.blogspot.com

For now, I cannot share any photos with anyone who might , by chance , happen to wander into this site for lack of time. However, with the wayward readers' indulgence, I promise to post some of my best photos. I am starting off with digital photography as a hobby and I happen to take good photos (from my perspective) from time to time.

What can you expect from this blogsite then? Well:

1.  Expect views, photos, thoughts, experiences of old people.  I have this interest on old people for many reasons which is worth an entire blog. I promise to post one on the matter soon.

2.  Expect photos of places, food and people of interest.

3.  Expect musings about my day to day observations of the life around us.

All for now.

Hope to be of interest to you in my future blogs.

Maiden Blog

I pray for patience (and mercy) from readers on this my first ever blog.

I just turned a Senior Citizen (it's at 60 in the Philippines)last March. Realization of my dreams of a retired life is still a dream.I was told by my colleagues that retirement at this stage is not yet for me. I then came to the realization that it might just be as well as I am not prepared to go into a major shift which, most probably would be unto a sedentary mode.

Would blogging then be a good avenue to put to good use my experiences and wisdom? After all, when everything is said and done, one is left with nothing but experience.

Blogging with a purpose is something that I would probably need to sustain this endeavor. Putting my money where my thoughts are, i enrolled and paid in full for a 9-module sessions in Blogging and Social Entrepreneurship to commence on May 5, 2011.

Let us see how things turn out.
